Satin can be really unforgiving if your bridesmaids are over a size 4...just something to consider :)
that's true...but the colors in satin are much more vivid and zippy, i think.
Either one would probably look nice with your dress--it depends on what you're going for. My bridesmaids all chose chiffon dresses, and even though some of them are in bright/vivid colors, the chiffon gives them a soft look. If you want something bolder, satin's probably the one for you. : )

the top layer of my dress is chiffon, and i was wondering what all of you thought regarding the fabric of the bridesmaids dresses? should they be chiffon as well or could satin still work?
my concern with satin is that i'm thinking the bridesmaid dresses would look shiny compared to mine. thoughts?
