As a guest, which favour would you prefer to receive?
- 2-3 chocolate covered oreos
- 2-3 pieces of homemade fudge (chocolate peppermint, rocky road, s’mores, etc)
- 2 homemade truffles
For the fudge, I think I would make 2 or 3 different flavours and give each guest one piece of each. I haven’t looked at truffle recipes yet, so I don’t know what flavours I would choose.

Truffles or fudge. It just seems nice to have something completely homemade, and both sound delicious!

Fudge or truffles. I don’t like Oreos.

I’d skip it. I don’t eat chocolate and yet most sweets and desserts at events are chocolate something or other. I was excited about the fudge until I saw all 3 options of it too were chocolate. Maybe a non-chocolate fudge option for people like me?

Overjoyed: good idea. I will check out some other flavours. As a non-chocolate-eating person, what are some flavours that you enjoy?

Fudge ! But something special. Not plain vanilla fudge! You could even make a few batches of different types and when you cut them into squares you can put different squares into each favor box. Yum

mildlybookish: Do you have any guests with allergies? I voted for the truffles because I can’t eat wheat so the oreos would be a waste

I made truffles and everyone enjoyed them, so that is what I voted. I ended up only having one per person. I was able to make something that everyone would like, including gluton free.

Honestly, I’d be happy with any of those, but my preference is fudge, then truffles, then oreos……now I’m definitely craving chocolate lol

cpick: I do have guests with allergies, but they are soy, kiwi and milk. My mom has made fudge for years for Christmas, and she has adapted her recipe so my dad (who is lactose intollerant) and my cousin (who is allergic) can eat it.
I’m starting to lean towards the fudge since it’s easy to make, plus the fact that my mom’s fudge is her specialty, makes it more personal.
