Im going back and forth and back and forth on favours.

    My three options are:

     1. Scratch card lottery tickets (bought in Feb so they have hearts all over them!)
    2. Candy Buffet
    3. Maple Candy in maple leaf shapes (2-3 peieces each)

My original plan was candy buffet AND lottery scratch cards. But I am Canadian, and live in the UK. Maple candy in maple leaf shapes would be nice and personal! But maple candy on tables AND a candy buffet would be too much- no?

    What do you think?

I think just the maple candy will be plenty. Cute idea!

i would do maple candy and the lotto tickets. a candy buffet would be overkill.

I voted for both the maple candy and the candy bar. You could include the maple candy in your candy bar, so you would have the best of both.

Sorry to say, that as much as I love the idea of those yummy maple candies, not everyone likes them.  I'd hate to have you waste your money, of have people take a bite and throw the rest away.

How about mini cupcakes with maple frosting in a to-go box?

Or teeny bottles of maple sugar with a favorite recipe for homemade pancakes attached?  People may be more inclined to appreciate the real maple syrup.

Make sure that there is a Made in Canada sign somewhere; or the red maple leap insignia.

If you know your friends really love that maple candy, go for it.  I'm the only one who eats in here, so for me, that wouldn't work.

I voted for maple candy and candy bar...because, well, I like candy Embarassed.  The maple candy alone is also a nice idea.  My friend did that for her wedding and they definitely were in my belly by the end of the night!

I voted maple candy as well, yum!

Just a note if you go the scratch-off route - scratch-offs expire after so long, so I'd make sure that if you were buying them in Feb, that they would still be valid after the date of your wedding if someone won.  You don't want anyone to be disappointed if they won a hundred bucks only to find out that the card was expired!
