before i vote, are you thinking single stem sunflowers/callas or bouquets?
And what kind of wedding is it? Formal or more casual? And what kind of bouquet will you have?
Oh definitely sunflowers, it's what you love (and it's your wedding) and I think they'd look great.
I'm also not a calla lily fan. They remind me of easter and funerals.

My bouqet will be shades of white. ANd I would say my wedding is not so formal but FMIL would say that it is "sophisticated" whatever that means.

Definitely vote for sunflowers! The brown in the center will match the brown dresses, and being your favorite flower is a big deal. Go with your gut!

Calla lillies would be pretty, but I think sunflowers are more fun, they're not used as often (hooray for being original) and they are what you envisioned to begin with! They will be perfect with those dresses!
i LOOOOOOVE Clarebee's bouquet idea with the yellow roses and sunflowers! Gorg! Gives the sunflowers a sophisticated updated (even though I'm a country girl myself, sometimes I think they look a little too country)
Of course, if you loves sunflowers, and you want sunflowers, then have sunflowers! (trust me, ask people who went to your wedding in 5 years and no one will even remember) It's what mattesr to you that counts.

Ooooooooh I LOVE the sunflowers idea. They just look like happiness to me.
Personally, I think sunflowers (and gerber daisies) are too casual for wedding bouquets. But you should pick whatever YOU like and not worry about what anybody says... including your FMIL!!!!!
I love the sunflower idea.. (the first inspiration)... A touch of sunflower will look so great with any of the dresses or colors..

All this time throughout planning I had envisioned my bridesmaids wearing brown dresses and carrying sunflowers (my favorite flower). Then today I get an email from FMIL saying she loves the BM dresses and she thinks yellow calla lillies would look great with them. Which do you think will go better?? PS - the dress is NOT that shiny in person!
