Laura Kate! So classic. I would possibly suggest Katherine as the middle name since I’m not wild about shortened names/nicknames being given names. That and I adore Katherine with a K.

They’re both lovely, but I’m a sucker for something slightly unusual, so I’m voting Lacey Jayde. I know enough Lauras and Kates, personally.

I like both (voted Laura Kate). Maybe if you played with the spelled a little, just because I feel there are a lot of “Y”s in Lacey Jayde.

Or you could mix them up! Laura Jayde, Lacey Kate…

I know a Lacey as an adult. She’s very fun and everyone likes her. But I do not care for how Jayde is spelled and to me, the two names do not “mesh” so I chose the Laura Kate. I love it! Classic and really cute!

I knew a girl in high school named Lacey and she wasn’t the most pleasant person in the world, so that name has a lingering negative association to me. On the other hand, I’ve known a couple of Lauras and they’ve all been lovely 🙂

I love Lacey. Laura is just too blah for my taste.

@Baimee:  Kate doesnt have to be a short name from Katherine, it may not have even come from Katherine. I know its your personal preference but I hate that my brith certificate says Katherine and I get called Kate so on official documents I have to write Katherine (Kate) Elizabeth. They should have written Kate on it!

Anyways that was off topic, I voted Laura Kate as I dont like the flow of the other one

I know about one thousand Lauras. it probably won’t be super popular in your little ones generation but it just doesn’t do much for me. What about Kate or jayde as a first name?
