I’m trying to decide which dress I should wear as a going away dress from the wedding! I have such a hard time finding dresses to fit my really long torso! (6’0 tall) I asked my FI his opinion…and he said they all look the same to him..lol!
I’m getting married in the winter at evening time (It’s in Louisiana, so I don’t have to worry about the weather being too cold)…we’re going for the elegant romantic feel, so I wanted something a little fancy to leave in.
Dress 1: Antonio Melani Dinah Crochet Dress (the fabric is much nicer than usual crochet material)
Dress 2: Giani Bini lace dress
Dress 3: Maggie London Illusion neck line dress
Any suggestions to dress any of them up? or should I keep looking?
Do you like any for bridal showers/rehearsal dinner?
What do yall think about leaving in a non-white or ivory dress?

3rd one for sure! I think its better on your body shape. I would maybe do a pearl bracelet with some pearl earrings.

I like the first one. The lace pattern is so beautiful and unique!

I think the 3rd dress looks beautiful on you. I would add a little belt.

I think the first one looks a bit more formal and classic than the other two that look a bit more summery and ‘running in the fields’…
Also the illusion of an empire bodice the lace pattern naturally creates will reduce the visible length of your upper body, proportioning the torso better.
You can dress it up with a nice bracelets/bangle and an intricate necklace, I will not add anything to the dress itself.

foreverlovex: DizzyBee86: deerstop: Beedoglady: Thanks for the opinions y’all! I think I’ll keep the first and third…and return the 2nd one.

I think the third dress is absolutely stunning! It’s perfect for a going away dress and looks the best on your body!
