I love the last one...but your FI probably won't "get it". It's very fashionable. That being said, I think the first one's a winner...
White House Black Market makes a black cocktail dress kinda like your third dress. I got it in black for my rehearsal dinner. Still the flare, ya know? Unless you're uber trendy in general, then the third one may be the way to go. I know my FI would have gone, "uhhhh.....it must be a designer thing" if i had that on. But i LOVE it.
The Hjelm gown is very right now. Unless you are a very classic lady, I would enjoy those fabulous ruffles while you can.
Also, I assume since you picked similar cuts that strapless A-line with a natural waist or lowe looks good on you? Silhouette is SO much more important than anything else.
Yeah, these are silouettes that I like and I think he'd like, but as ejs4y8 pointed out... the third one would be up in the air w/ him. Here is a similar gown I tried, but no sweetheart neck line and as you may be able to tell, I tucked in the straps... straps ruin it for me... lol...
I love lace, I love flowers, I love ruffles, I love classy looks... I know what I like, but am simply too indecisive!
P.S. Please ignore my stupid expression... I was getting loopy...
I like the first and third gown. The third is very unique and the first is very classic. I'm not such a fan of the second gown.
Thanks for everyone's input! This didn't go as I hoped... lol... I was hoping at least one wouldn't get any votes. I suppose I'll just have to wait until the fall to see/try them on. Of course I'd fall in love w/ premier gowns that can't even be seen yet. I always have to make things difficult... =)
My preference is the 3rd one, but then I'm a big fan of having a memorable (but classy) gown. You definitely have the adorable shape to pull it off, and the sweetheart neckline is going to be so flattering! I also like the little pop of color it provides.
Happy shopping!
I am biased because I'm a Blue by Enzoani bride... but I lovveeeee the first! I love ball gowns and that one is so romantic, yet modern. Good luck!
#2 and #3 are my faves. So fun! I like overall #2 more, but the #3 skirt is super fantastic!
No, I don't have pictures... b/c they're gowns that aren't avalible yet... I'm difficult like that. =) I just posted a picture that I felt was similar in cut/stlye I'm into.
So... just FYI... much to my surprize... I showed the boy, jokingly, the Jim Hjelm gown w/ all its awesome ruffles and he liked it. Hmmm... :)
Can't wait to find and try these bad boys on!
LOOOOOOOOOOOVE the Jim Hjelm one. Then Pattis, then Blue. Blue seems kinda generic. The other 2 are whimsical and fun.
mandalee,
Here's a Casablanca gown like the Columbia by Enzoani. I'm sure it's less expensive than the Enzoani gown, which retails for $1789. The Casablanca doesn't have the lace on the skirt like the Enzoani (see below).
I love the one with the tiered skirt. It's very fashion-foward! The other two are more classic for sure.
I LOVE LOVE LOVE that jim Hjelm dress. What is the style number? I think its GORGEOUS. I almost want to get that one instead of mine....yikes! Mom wouldn't be too happy but i LOVE IT!!! Go for it!

I'm just curious of which three gowns more people liked. Of course I can's ask the one who's opinion I value most!
Thx for your input!
