Some lady at the florist store told me I'm wearing my engagement ring on the wrong hand!

Last time I checked it goes on the ring finger on the left hand right?

Does it move to the right hand when I get married?

    That lady is nuts!!!

It is traditional to wear both of your rings on the left hand. Some brides choose to move the engagement ring to the right hand after the ceremony; however, I am going to wear both rings on my left hand.

Left hand is customary in North America.

Some Eastern European/Middle Eastern countries where their e-rings and wedding bands on the right hand and I know of one girl who is Lebanese who wears her e-ring on her right hand but will wear her wedding band on her left hand.

So depending on culture there are some differences and she may not be accustomed to North American culture.

I will be wearing my wedding band with my engagement ring on my left hand.  I've heard in some countries it's normally on the right hand though.

We're getting married the same day!

I've heard of wearing the Ering on the right hand as an old Christian tradition, but I still wear mine on my left.

I wear them both on my left ring finger!  (I know a lot of brides where the e-ring on the right ring finger on the wedding day, and move it over later if they have a set.)

Left hand... but yes, in some cultures it is customary to wear the e-ring on the right hand, and then switch to the left once married (or some even KEEP the wedding ring on the right).

My e-ring won't sit flush against anything, so I'll be moving it to my right hand permanently!

Ring on the left, but I know it's not the same way in Germany, for example. Mr. Scissors parents were confused, I think. :p

I don't have an e-ring (didn't want one, let me tell you the shocked looks I get everytime I say that!) but will wear the band on my left. That being said my folks are both Latin American (Mexican and Colombian) and my mom says that it's traditionally on the right hand in their countries. She says they finally switched to left hand so she wouldn't get hit on (she was 21 and wayyyy hot when she got married).. Wow. Just realized I made my mom sound really vain. She isn't.. promise!

Long story short - Left, but when I go visit family out of the country will move it to my right hand. :)

My ring is in the box... I never wear it when I'm at home. But it goes on the left in the USA. Alot of other countries wear it on the right.
