I am diy-ing my pocketfold wedding invitations, however, I cannot decide between 2 stamps. The first picture is the first mock up invitation that I created. I loved the stamp and did not emboss it. However, after seeing some of the invites here I found another stamp that I fell in love with which is pictured in picture #2. Although you can’t tell in the picture, I embossed that invitation. So, my question is, which one do you like better.

Number two for sure! I love the parallel the damask creates with the ribbon, it makes it look stream-lined and very pretty.

yep, i agree, number 2! the first stamp isn’t symmetrical… so when you rotated it, the long parts don’t match each other, which makes them look lopsided-ish. Definitely number 2.

Thanks Ladies, invitation #2 it is. I will post pictures of the final invitation. Has anyone of you embossed on linen paper? I am using linen paper and although the picture above is my first try at embossing, I had a hard time because the ink looks like it is fading. I will try again maybe putting more pressure, but if that doesn’t work maybe I should reconsider my choice of cardstock.

I agree, number two does look best!
