I think they're both sweet- but I see that your wedding's in the evening. I think the first font style is a little more appropriate for an evening ceremony/reception. Also the back of the second seems a little "scattered".
Congrats on a beautiful venue! and how unique to get married on a boat! When I lived in Philly I used to walk past there quite often but never ended up eating there before I left the city. I like the first choice, the brightness of the blue pops against your other colors.
I prefer the second b/c of the waves in your card mimics the waves of the font. Both mesh together better. Nice invites!
I like the first better. I agree with the prior poster -- the font/spacing allow the colors of the invitation to pop more.
I like the second one, its seems more differnt than the usual fonts. I am partial to fun fonts over the traditional ones though....
I prefer the second one. I think it's fun and whimsical! :)
I think the second font goes better with the overall style of the invitation. It's not a formal design, so why make it stuffy with formal script? The second font is more fun.
I love the font on the second one. Great invitations. Do you know what the font is? Also, great idea to print doublesided. I'm sure it is a great money saver and frankly I'm constantly losing the inserts with invitations and scrambling to find them two days before the wedding.
I like the first one better.
There's something about the font on the second one that's always bothered me, and now I see it all over the place.
PS- it's called "scriptina"
What's so funny is that I have a very clear favorite- and the bees seem split. Just goes to show that everything's subjective.
I think we're going to go with the Second Color Choice- but with Bickley script instead of Scriptina.
When I get the new proofs I'll post.
I like the second one for sure! So fun. I love the back of it!
I agree with you Meggels... I love the color in the second but prefer the font of the first.
Got the final product in the mail!
Front of invitation, Back of invitation, thank you card..... now working on Seating Chart!

If I show one more invitation proof to the boy he may shoot me- so I'm asking you'all. which do you prefer? This is a double-sided invitation.
First (2) go together, and Second (2) go together.
Only thing that's changed is the scripty font & background color.
