Just looking at the two, the first one is traditional/expected. The second one had that POP. I love the second one.
I voted for the scroll. I think you could do more with it. You could add the scroll design to your programs, table numbers, any paper signage. Also, you could emboss a scroll design on your envelopes.... :)
I think you could personalize your wedding more & run with that "theme"
Both are really pretty! But I think I like the flourish of the scroll better.
I like the first one! It's actually the backdrop we used for our wedding website on myweddings.com :o)
I love the petals...so romantic and unique!!! It is not what you always see which is why I really like it :)
I think that the petals invitation is more unique. My only concern is that it has a lot of black. It is one of your wedding colors right?
i like number two! it depends on you wedding style i think - are u traditional or like to be different. though number one is nice number two pops! wow i keep saying number two its making me laugh, sorry the 4th grader is coming out...........
@ jbsgirl - I had looked at mywedding.com before for a website and I completely forgot that they had the scroll as a background! I am one of those who 'loves to match' when it comes to paper products and how neat would it be for our website to match too. I/we are more traditional, and yes our colors are black, white and garnet (darker red). The only thought I had with mywedding's version of a website is that it is VERY basic and doesn't allow any HTML editing (I am learning HTML and it gives me a good excuse to put my new skills to work). I found one at theknot that incorporates a similar red to our garnet, black and white and allows for HTML editing. Thanks for the opinions on the invites girls - I like them both so much that I am having a hard time deciding. It may come down to putting the two names in a hat and drawing (that's so ridiculous isn't it...)

It might not be making it any easier to pick one over the other, but it's great that there are a good number of fans for either option - your invites will look great no matter which one you end up picking!
i think the 2nd one is more unique and i think it would look great!
Love the petals. My invites were by WPD and I have to tell you, they were wonderful. Id recommend them 1000 times over. Even my MIL ordered our rehearsal dinner invites, and my BM ordered my shower invites from them, and everyone loved them

I couldn't figure out how to get the images up here, so I just included links (you can also see the matching paper products to each, like Save the Dates).
