I LOVE the sewn linen. If I got that invite, I would think "I can't wait to go the wedding." It is so cool.

A pocketfold always makes me think, "Oooh, fancy!" But I voted for the sewn one, because it's so unique and it matches your theme. It also has that homemade vibe that makes everyone smile. : )
Jeez I really like the pocketfold way better. The sewn linen just looks a little too handmade to me and a little messier. I guess that is the look some people want, but I prefer the cleaner and more classic look of the pocketfold.
I love the linen too! That's a great look, so rustic and yet you can tell alot of work went into it and it looks awesome!
i think they both look great...but i've never seen anything like the linen, so i voted for that! so unique!
I'm not really a fan of the linen. Too be honest, it kind of looks like a potato sack. But that's just me.
i like the pocketfold.. but that's just me.. it dresses it up a bit..
Thanks for your opinions! I am SUCH A SPAZ when it comes to invitations. I'm on round 36. No joke. I'm reworking the linen pouch to look less potato sack-ish. Stay tuned for round 37. :)

I think everyone has that one wedding project that consumes them. My all consuming project is making and re-making wedding invitations. We're having a rustic barn wedding, and first I chose the pocketfold invite from Target. I added the cardstock backing and the embossed flower.
Then, I saw a linen pocket on Snippet and Ink and had to try it. I started sewing and made a trial version. I think this invite matches our theme better, but I need some help. My family just keeps saying they like them both. What do you ladies think?
