I think everyone has that one wedding project that consumes them. My all consuming project is making and re-making wedding invitations. We’re having a rustic barn wedding, and first I chose the pocketfold invite from Target. I added the cardstock backing and the embossed flower.
Then, I saw a linen pocket on Snippet and Ink and had to try it. I started sewing and made a trial version. I think this invite matches our theme better, but I need some help. My family just keeps saying they like them both. What do you ladies think?

I LOVE the sewn linen. If I got that invite, I would think “I can’t wait to go the wedding.” It is so cool.

I love the sewn one; especially for your theme, and it would be more unique. Not everyone has done it.
If you still have the link for the instructions, I would love for you to send it to me please 🙂

A pocketfold always makes me think, “Oooh, fancy!” But I voted for the sewn one, because it’s so unique and it matches your theme. It also has that homemade vibe that makes everyone smile. : )

Love, love, love the linen!

Jeez I really like the pocketfold way better. The sewn linen just looks a little too handmade to me and a little messier. I guess that is the look some people want, but I prefer the cleaner and more classic look of the pocketfold.

I love the linen too! That’s a great look, so rustic and yet you can tell alot of work went into it and it looks awesome!
