I think the pockets on the second one look cleaner and make the suit look more put together overall. I voted #2!

@BrideToBe14:  I didn’t notice at first but I do now! I think the collar on #2 is better as well

The first one is more modern to me, though I would have the guys tuck in the pocket flaps and have the sleek silk lined pocket only. Also, the one button will be very flattering to slimmer groomsmen, but if you have bigger guys, the two button may be more flattering.

The first one is a dinner jacket (Tuxedo).  The second one is a suit jacket with shiny lapels.  Get the first one, and tuck in the pocket flaps.  They’re both a similar, boxy, standard rental jacket type shape.  If you’re having different men wear the identical jcaket, they’ll fit however they fit.  Only way to make sure the jackets fit well is to have everyone wear his own jacket.  Flap pockets are designed so that, when the flaps are tucked in, they look identical to besom pockets (the style on the second jacket).  Peak lapels, one button, and besom pockets are the proper details of a dinner jacket.

The button stance on the one-button jacket is located so that it won’t make much of a difference between one and two button.
