Which jeweler should I choose?

    I would stick with the original jeweler. If this is going to be your forever band then I don’t see a reason to take a risk. Despite the other jeweler’s good reviews, I’d think that since the orignial jeweler made your e-ring he/she would have a greater chance of matching the band precisely.

    gingerspice: it depends on who the jewelers are and what you want. Do you want pave? Or engraved? Or just curved? none of this is clear from your post.

    gingerspice: ok, since pave is really delicate work, stick with your first jeweler. Crappy pave looks bad and is higher risk for losing diamonds.

    I would stick with the original jeweler. He would be able to match it identically, the other jewelers work may still be beautiful, but it would be hard for him to exactly mimic the other guys work.

    gingerspice:  I would go to the original jeweler, but I would try to convince them to offer the 2nd jeweler’s price. Many companies will price match a competitor, so maybe you can get jeweler 1’s price to a more reasonable sum.
