So I’m trying to decide between two options:
I have a salon right around the corner from my place that has great reviews for bridal and wedding makeup. They charge $150 for the trial which is the average price for trial session in my city (and $125 for day of).
A couple of months ago, I met a young woman at one of the makeup counters at Macy’s. She told me she was trying to break into the wedding industry and was willing to do my trial for $50. She seemed very genuine and she was offering airbrushing, eyelashes, and travel to my home at no additional cost. However, when I emailed her to set up the trial appointment, it took her a week to reply.
Between the two, who should I go with? The person looking for a break and offering a great price but has shown signs of unprofessionalism, or the seasoned pro at a reputable salon for a higher price?
