After browsing through badabing88’s dramatic makeup thread, I now want to do a more dramatic look. Here are three I really like:
#3 (I would likely lighten this up a bit. i.e. make the black parts a grey or not quite as heavy)

@IzzyBear: I love two for the ceremony but three would be perfect for a reception!

I like the first one! She has awesome YouTube makeup tutorials!

I love Jaclyn Hill so much! I like one or two!

I love the wings on the second one!

Are these girls using fake lashes?? I know mine would never do that…

@Payless: I also chose 2- it’s dramatic but still clean looking. I feel like after a night of sweating & having it on all day #3 would start to get that “last night’s smokey eye turned morning after hooker look”
Are you doing it yourself or looking for inspiration for your makeup artist? Those lines would take quite a bit of practice to get them perfect…

i think i like #1 the best.
make sure you pick the right application for your face shape and features.

I love # 2 the best. The little flick on the corner of the eye is really cool.

I voted 2, but I also really like 1. I jus didn’t vote for 1 because those colors would look terrible on me, and so I associate that brown/copper color with red undertones as being unflattering but if it would be good on your coloring, I like 1 a lot. So take into account your coloring and facial features before deciding. I think 3 is too much and the under eye stuff can end up looking icky, especially later in the night.

@BeckyS0: I didn’t think of how it would look after the dancing! Good call

Thanks for the help ladies! I agree that #3 is a little too dark and the under eye is a little heavy. The only reason I really like that look is because of the pink/mauvey base color. Does anyone think that #3 would look good without the under eye color and lighten up the black on the lids? Maybe to be more like #1 but using the mauve color instead of brown…
