I LOVE #5! And it's something that they can wear more often after the wedding than the others too.
I think number three is gorgeous, but I can see number five being worn on a more regular basis if that's your goal.
I just wonder, do you guys (or gals I should say) think that #5 would look okay with purple dresses? I love that necklace but am worried about the color clashing
I pick mix them up! I love options 2, 3 and 4. If I were doing this I would probably give my BM's 2 or 3 and my MOH 4. I think it would be nice to give them each a necklace that fits their personality the most and/or you think they would wear again.
I like the color of the fifth one, but I don't like the overall style of it.. I just can't see it going with a formal dress. I like #4 best out of your choices, though.
Thank you!! For those that picked the mixed option (or even for those who didn't) which ones do you think?
I voted to mix them up, they're all nice! One thing to consider with the drop necklaces though is how it will work with the neckline of the dresses that they choose. Those necklaces might not work as well with a dress that has a higher neckline. Good choices though!
I have no vote. i think you should mix it up according to what you think each bridesmaid would like.
5, I'm really not a fan of necklaces that have that dangly drop thing on the end.
Looking closer at 5, though, I'd prefer one that actually had that sort of closure as opposed to a fake-version of the post-through-a-loop.
("dangly drop thing" and "post-through-a-loop"... I'm obviously having an eloquent morning.)
I would mix it up - ask each girl which one she wants.
I like #5 and think it's the most universal to all people's taste, as a locket is always in style. And I think the color (gold)n looks great with purple.
IMO, you should go with one necklace (and as you can tell I vote #5) since all of the dresses are different, it will give a nice uniformed element to the girls' attire.
I really appreciate the votes and comments!! But oy, now I need a tie breaker! Or maybe #3 for the MOH and #5 for the other girls? Or vice versa?
@bookworm88: lol, I sooooooo know the feeling... I have many mornings like that
@GroovyHippieChick: I like this! Ask them. I got a necklace from a friend for a wedding and I will never wear it again. It just isn't my taste, its hers. I would definitely suggest asking them ... If you want it to be a surprise ask them as if it was for you?
@PennyLainne: lol, I actually did try to ask (but without mentioning that it was for them because I would like some element of surprise) and they couldn't decide because they were torn over how each would go with my wedding dress! My wedding dress is a lavender/silver color, so not quite as versatile as white. Anyway, I guess it kind of threw them off and they kept asking me what I like for myself, lol
Hands down #3 is my favorite and I think they'd be able to get so much use out of them after your wedding for other events.
Love #5! It's different and very unique. As a BM, I'd be excited to wear that necklace (and look forward to wearing it again).
I was going to ask about #3 also for myself for my wedding. Thanks for the link.
They are super nice.
I would say buy them all and let them choose.
Out of your choices I'd say #3. I dont personally care for that style of necklaces but if I had to choose #3 could probably be reused more after the wedding.
Gah, I wish I had read all of the poll choices before voting - I voted necklace #1, but I actually love the idea of mixing it up so they all get different ones.
#1 is simple and elegant. I don't like #2 and #4 because I used to wear flowerbud necklaces like that in high school. They're not as elegant as #1. I like #3, but when stone size gets bigger, it can sometimes look more costumey. Hate #5. It will clash with eggplant and it looks so heavy and informal. I'm super biased though, I hate the "rustic chic" fad that's driving weddings to contained brushed brass, mason jars, and all that other antique-but-I-bought-it-recently stuff.

The bridesmaids will be wearing a dress of their choosing (so probably all different ones) in a purple/eggplant color. There are a total of 3 girls, including MOH. Please help me decide what to pick, or if you think I should get different ones to mix it up. Thanks!!
