With an illusion neckline I would be more likely to buy statement earrings and forgo wearing a necklace because it’s either going to be covered up by the neckline or it’s going to detract from the neckline.  I vote for Other: no necklace and  get some blingy statement earrings!!!

@beachbride1216:  +1, the illusion neckline serves as the interest piece in that area (rather than a necklace), so from a proportion standpoint, not having a necklace would look better.  But if you insist, I like #4 🙂

I would definitely recommend not wearing a necklace.  As previous posters have mentioned, it would compete with the illusion neckline and take away from your dress.  I honestly don’t think any of the options will look right.  Go with earrings and maybe a bracelet.

I would not wear any type of necklace with your dress. It already has an ornate neckline, and any type of  necklace would only compete with it. I would focus on finding the right earrings, headpiece/hair ornament, and bracelet instead.

Your dress is lovely without and would look best without. My vote is skip the necklace and go for earrings and a bracelet!

Necklaces would compete with that beautiful neckline. I would do earrings and possibly a bracelet.

I would definitely avoid wearing a necklace with an illusion neckline. As for the options, I’d say #2 or #4 (the two dainty designs). The first one is too chunky and the third is too childish, with the hearts.

But yeah – nix the necklace and go for beautiful earrings and perhaps a bracelet instead!

As other PP have said, I wouldn’t wear a necklace with an illusion neckline. However, if you do choose one, I’d go with one of the dainty necklaces.

Have to agree with the PPs. I wouldnt wear a necklace and would wear statement ear rings and a bracelet. You dont want to cover up that pretty neckline!

Another VOTE – for NONE OF THESE

Altho if I was going to buy a necklace from the selection just for the sake of owning one just not wearing it with this Wedding Dress (lol, I am afterall a Jewellery nut) my choice would definitely be D

    — — —

I wore a strand a pearls at my first Wedding (circa 1980), and my dress had a high very plain neckline… not a lot of detail like yours has.

Not 100% sure that pearls would work in your case, because as another Bee said your dress and the illusion neckline is pretty detailed (lace present)… that you probably have more than enough going on.

When it comes to Jewellery for your dress, I too would be looking to accent somewheres else…

    Earings, Bracelet, Watch, etc.

    Hope this helps,
