Which of SO's quirks make your blood boil?

Leaving wet towels on the bed and not using the correct towels.  Such a little thing, but it drives me crazy! I have a “face towels” and a “body towels.”  The face towel is always yellow, the body towel is always blue. It took him about three years to only use the blue towel, but he still leaves his wet towel on the bed!  Every time I see it, I have to take a deep breath and remind myself that it’s not actually something huge, and then I remind him gently to please hang up his towel when he’s done with it.

The other thing is cracking his knuckles.  I hate when anyone does this.

He leaves the water on the ENTIRE time he’s brushing his teeth. I’m an aquatic ecologist- water issues are my living. The wastefulness of this drives me bonkers. Gallons down the drain that could be saved by just turning a knob. UGH.

He doesn’t remember anything without persistent follow-up on my part. I hate feeling like I am nagging, so I’ve stopped following up except when absolutely necessary.

@juliana192:  Not really a quirk, but my FI has a terrible habit of not listening.  I’ll say something and just get met with silence.  Or I’ll say something and he says the exact thing a few minutes later, no idea that I just made the same statement.  It drives me crazy!!  I’ve explained how annoying/hurtful/rude it is and he’s been making a better effort lately.  But still gets to me.

I can hear him clipping his toenails from 2 rooms away (gags)

He refuses to fill a sink with dishes, instead, leaves dirty stuff all over the counter.

He’s a morning person, I’m not.  He’s (to me) loud, bright eyed and busy tailed when I just want to get ready and go to work.  He’ll playfully touch me (inappropriately) or kiss my neck while I’m flat ironing my hair or putting on mascara…GET AWAY FROM ME!!!  LOL

He’s obsessed with our cat…more than he is with me, I think.

…did I mention he knows EVERYTHING?? Tongue Out

And I can’t WAIT to spend the rest of my life with him! Kiss

He’s constantly rearranging our kitchen and gets pissy when I complain about not being able to find something. He uses my nice microfiber kitchen towels as rags even though I’ve asked him multiple times not to. The new one is that he’ll no longer put bath towels in with laundry if any of his clothes are in there because they leave “fuzzies” (they really don’t) and we now have a giant pile of dirty towels.

@juliana192:  I’m actually the interrupter in our relationship, ha!

One thing he does that drives me nuts is if I get up to go to the bathroom, he ALWAYS asks “Where are you going?” Like DUDE, we live in a TINY, one bedroom apartment.. where do you THINK I’m going?? He also always forgets to cover his mouth when he burps (just when we are alone, not in public thank god) and it PISSES ME OFF so dang bad.

@juliana192:  Oh, my FI also farts way too close to me.  Like when we’re both sitting on the couch, and I can feel the vibration of it.  BARF.  I’ve gotten on him about this too, so now he’ll usually get up and go fart in the corner somewhere.  At least it’s not basically right on me, but it still reminds me of a little kid going to go shit in the corner.  ….sigh….  Still happy to marry him though!!

@kb7:  My SO says I do this sometimes. I see it more as an introverted thing: I don’t always have an answer or want to give a small talk answer to something like an observation. I just note it in my head and carry on.

My SO is annoying when he is being a massive troll. He does it to everyone, but he enjoys telling people ridiculous things. He always gets his mom by saying his job is moving him to china. I’m mostly used to it now but it still gets on my nerves

My Husband gets these crazy OCD moments where he just wants to clean and put away everything. They are conviently when I am not in a cleaning mood. You would think this would be awesome, but he has thrown away several things that were important (including my bridesmaids earrings for the wedding, in a torn open bag) and money vouchers that were actually good), or he is constantly coming up asking me, where do you want this, where should I put that? If I wanted it put away I would put it away!!! Ahhh. I love him to death, but sometime I just want to leave my things out and know that they are safe from being thrown away or put in a weird spot.

@juliana192:  My DH used to do this until I kept saying “Oh, I’m sorry, did the middle of my sentence interrupt the beginning of yours”. He stopped 🙂
