Which of these items would you be the most excited about getting in your welcome basket (for staying in our block of rooms at the hotel)?

hahaha! I was like, I'm a child, voting for sprinkles. Glad I'm not alone. If you have more sophisticated guests (unlike me), the bath soaps may be nice.

Definitely the cupcake!!  I don't think the other things would be used - the travel candle and nice soaps I may or may not remember to toss in my bag to take home (I wouldn't use them at the hotel, that's for sure), but if I did, I would more than likely toss them under a sink and forget about them.  The water of course I'd drink (but hotel tap water is just as good unless you're in a 3rd world country!) and I'd toss the bottle immediately afterwards, making your time and effort on a monogram go to waste.

That being said, a tasty treat upon checking into the hotel room (i.e. a cupcake with sprinkles!) would be most heartily appreciated!  Might I suggest two though so you don't have couples fighting over who gets the cupcake??  :-)

If people are traveling to and staying at a hotel, that means suitcase space is at a premium.  I think anything consumable is a better idea than something they'd have to try to pack (and possibly throw away if they don't have the space or don't want it breaking inside their luggage).

I say you can never go wrong with something edible! Chocolates, cupcakes, carmel, toffee...ETC. I voted cupcake :) Totally cute.

Food> anything else. I have a million little hotel soaps in a cabinent, and something like bath soap would get chucked in there too. I also have a lot of candles and I really like the scent they are. I dont even know what a "travel" candle is...

Cupcake = love. Although water would be handy because not all hotels provide free bottled water.

    In order

    1) Bath soaps--interesting, different, useful, regiftable if I don't want them, pretty, smells good.

    2) Cupcake--though I'm coming for wedding cake so giving me more cake is a little odd, but it would still be fun.

    3) Monogrammed water--I'd use it but it seems a bit of a throw away, not really very creative, unique, etc.

    4) Travel Candle--I don't even know what makes a candle "travel" but I would never use this and would just throw it out

Cupcake for sure.  Would be really nice to come home to after a night of drinking.  However...I wouldn't want to share it with my Husband...so as long as it was one per guest!! :)

I think I'm the only one who voted for the water...lol  I don't drink tap water in hotels, so I would be thrilled to not have to pay $4.00 a bottle to get it from the hotel!!!

I voted for bath soaps just because I'm not a fan of Sprinkles. I love cupcakes so if it were any other brand I'd vote for that.

I'm that weirdo who doesn't like cupcakes, so I voted bath soaps! I always forget to bring mine when I travel too so it would be really nice not to have to use the hotel soap!

    In order:

    1) cupcake - because who doesn't like a sugary snack waiting to surprise them

    2) water bottle - because sometimes tap water is funky, and mini bar water is EXPENSIVE

    3) soaps - good to use on the trip, since the ones provided by the hotel are usually pretty skimpy, but I usually bring my own and am attached to particular types.

    4) travel candle - I just never think, "can't forget to pack my candle!" and would be worried that open flame isn't allowed anyway.

I'm voting water because sometimes when things get exciting, I tend to forget to drink enough water so it's also kind of like an identifier like yup, I'm here to celebrate their wedding!

    Mmm cupcakes....

I'm really really picky about scented products, so the chances are the travel candle and bath soaps would be wasted on me. Bottled water would be my second choice.

It depends on your guests. I LOVE sweets. My FI doesn't like cake. Do you have many diabetic guests?
