We haven’t opened many of our gifts yet actually, even the ones we’ve had for months (small apartment and haven’t had time to sift through our things that need to be donated, etc. in order to have space for upgraded items), but I have to say that I use the Nutribullet we received nearly every day!  We also got a new kettle that we definitely use daily for drip coffee and/or tea. Once I open the cookware I know we will use those most every day too. Oh, also the Pyrex storage bowls- now I can get rid of the million, crappy plastic storage containers that are probably killing us with BPA 🙂

A popcorn maker sounds fun!

goingtotherooftopoflove:  Oh I can’t wait to go through everything, you’re totally right!  We barely had time off after the wedding 2 weeks ago and had a big weekend of plans last weekend and the next we are going away, so I’m hoping the following weekend we can take care of the clutter in our apartment!

And the Nutribullet is a type of blender, but much smaller than a typical blender. I make a lot of protein smoothies so it’s great for that, but I make salad dressing in there, banana “milkshakes” (frozen bananas, cocoa powder, and coconut milk- tastes like a chocolate milkshake with no sugar or dairy!), and other blended items. It’s definitely a space saver and SO much easier to clean than a regular blender. I will say it doesn’t chop ice cubes as well, however, but it use mostly frozen fruit so getting the right consistency isn’t a problem. Hope that helps! 🙂

We love:

Our nice silverware set (ja.a Heinkes or something)

the NINJA blender for making smoothies- literally once or twice a day, every single day we use this

the window fan with exhaust/intake to keep us from using the AC

a really nice carry-on from Kohl’s. I’ve used it like 5 times

We use our nice new silverware and dishes everyday. I actually use my kitchen aide mixer way more often than I thought I would. I don’t bake much, but I have some of the extra attachments for it that I use a lot.

Haha, ours is silverware, too. We received a really nice knife set that we use daily– and it is the fiesta ware so it has a nice and bright handle.

So far our coffeemaker and silverware. We received a ton of stuff at my shower in April that we have yet to break out, like all new plates! We live in a two-bedroom place and knew we’d be moving this summer (now we know it’s this weekend, two weeks after the wedding) so we decided to live with boxes for several months to make the moving easier. Now, though, it’s become harder to pack, as the normal places we’d stash boxes already have boxes there! I am SO looking forward to having a (slightly) larger place, with new things!

Most used: citrus reamer, pots/pans, chef’s knife, flexible cutting boards, sheets/towels, OXO pop up containers (I bought more after the wedding!), Kyocera veggie peeler

Least used: beer glasses, custom rocking chair (not registered for, a family tradition), party ice bucket, baking items (tart pan, pastry blender, pie dishes, etc)

If you like putting lemon/lime juice on foods or in recipes, I HIGHLY recommend a reamer. Mine was like $5 at Sur La Table and it gets so much more juice out and its way cleaner than squeezing the halves.
