i love the bodice on the pickup dress but kinda have a soft spot for a lace dress. what sort of outdoor wedding & reception are you having? dress #1 seems a bit more of a fun dress while the lace one would fit a garden wedding but with a bit more elegant tone to it

OMG, I love the lace one. What kind of wedding? The lace is timeless and elegant, and definitely stands out. The pick-up one, while beautiful, looks like many dresses out there.

The wedding is hopefully more casual though elegant...the groom and groomsmen in khaki suits, green, chocolate brown and cream are the colors. It's probably going to be a midday wedding, so in Virginia, with the humidity, it may be warm.
I've got a vintage cake topper and vintagey invites....so the lace may be more appropriate?
You look great in either but I personally like the first one. Like you said though, the lace dress probably better suits the theme of your wedding.
I'm not a huge fan of pickups, so I picked the lacey one. It's very figure-flattering on you, and would be great for an outdoor wedding. Good luck choosing! :)
I'm usually all about lace, but I'm just not loving the lace design on that one and I guess how it fits you... but that could be changed w/ the right size. The other is great on you.
You look lovely in both but my favorite is the James Clifford Dress in lace! Love it and it will be so elegant for an outdoor wedding!
I voted for the first one, but I think that it really depends on the theme that you are going for. The first one is a little more trendy, but still very sexy/romantic and the second one is very classic and timeless. I think that either would be gorgeous for an outdoor wedding!

I personally like the lacey dress but go with your gut. I have to agree with the others though that the lace seems to suit and outdoor wedding better. Pickups remind me of ballgowns.

perhaps if the lace dress were ivory with white lace, instead of the buff color?

you look HOT in that first dress! It hugs your body perfectly. I dont know if its just me or the pic but the second dress (while pretty) doesnt seem to be very flattering on you. If you think a lacey dress would be more appropriate for the wedding maybe try on a few different styles.
Usually I'm a huge advocate of lace however, in this case I just have to go with the satin. The sweetheart neckline looks lovely on you and this dress also makes your already tiny waist look even smaller. I'm not really a fan of the pickups so I don't love the bottom of the satin dress.....but, like I said, I'm not a pick ups fan at all so I'm a bit bias. The lace dress doesn't do you justice at the neckline at all- in my opinion.
Oooor.....what about finding a lace one with a more sharp sweetheart neckline? Hopefully that makes sense?
