    I will be getting married in July.  Which one do you think, and why?  Dont be afraid to tell me negative feedback, I will not be offended! 8')

    I know its a summer wedding, but I love the second one, it needs some work though.  Does anyone have broad shoulders and muscular arms like myself?  Could you post your self in your wedding dress if you have a similar body type.   I would like to see your dress selection.  If you could recommend a style to me, that would be great too!

    I like the silhouette on the second one best. What types of changes were you planning on? To me, the shape just looks better on your specific frame.

    I think the second one is more flattering for your body.  It gives you a killer waist, and I love how it showcases your collarbone (which, IMO, is a really sexy but overlooked part of a woman's body).  I also love the buttons on the back.  I'm a sucker for buttons.

    Your arms and shoulders do not look in the least bit overly muscular/big in the second dress! I love the second dress way more than the first on you. The first dress is designed to show every single lump and bump on the body- which is why it really only works perfectly for models or pre-teens- aka people with no curves! The second dress is tight in the right places and structured in the right places as well.

    I have curves, and I know I definitely need dresses with structure. Definitely the 2nd one!

    I agree with PP. I like the second one, it is a  gorgeous dress on you and your figure. I didn't choose the first one becuase I think the halter top makes your shoulders look really broad. Sorry.

    I prefer the second one. It is very classic AND classy and I love what it does for your body. I also like the lace. I am a sucker for lace.

    Agreed with the others--I like the 2nd dress much more, and I think it looks lovely now. What changes are you thinking of making?  I think the halter style in general is not so flattering for larger shoulders.

    The second one looks much, much better on you. I have broad swimmers' shoulders so I didn't want a strapless. Here is a pic of me in my Jim Hjelm dress.

    I also like the second one on you best. It's beautiful and really flatters your figure by giving you the perfect balance.

    I'm not sure what state or place you're getting married in this summer. But unless the location is unbearably hot, I think you'll be okay :)

    The second one flatters you so much more than the halter top! If you're worried about the summer heat, could you have it altered to be strapless?

    @AmeliaBedelia:

    Pick up the front so its not hanging on the floor, and tighten the sleeves.

    #2 for sure!  I think the lace gives you a softer, romantic look.

    What sort of changes are you considering?  Making the skirt more streamlined?

    #2 for sure. I think your shoulders are just a bit too broad for the halter style. The second one looks amazing on you.

    okay i'm the opposite i guess of everyone, I like the first one.  Your arms do not look all masculine or anything.  The first on is beautiful for a summer wedding:)

    Oh! and you asked why....

    The first one is perfect for a summer wedding, the material.  your waist looks magnificent and you look truly like you are wearing the dress.

    I think theother one, looks like the dress is wearing you.  IMO of course

    I love the second one!!  I think halter is kind of severe for broad shoulders, and the bust is not as flattering on the first one.  I LOVE the second one on you...the lace sleeves are gorgeous!

    The best silhouette I've seen for girls with broad musclar shoulders are sweetheart strapless dresses. Sweethearts helps elongate the neckline.  I think the A line looks really great on you too.

    For the dresses, I definitely like the second one more.  I wish you had a picture of just the front view.  Both pictures of the second dress display you at an angle, so it gives it a different illusion sometimes.

    In terms of the waist line, the second dress is much better.  It gives you a nice waistline.  The first one is a definitely no for the waist line.  I agree with Leeluu's comment about the first dress.

    I hope this helps!

    wow, i am so surprised at the responses! usually i vote with the majority....and as soon as i saw the pics, i thought "definitely the first one!!!!' i liked it off the bat and then after seeing the second, i was "oh yes, still definitely the first one!"  i think the halter top looks good on you, i love the beading in the center, and the overall look. also, i guess i am not a fan of a-line dresses and i find the front of the second one a bit plain.

    @Ronneykay:

    yes #1 is the halter.

    What does everyone think now?  Viewing #2 at diffrnt angles?

    Different views

    The sides needs to come in near the bust line.

    The thigh and side areas need to also be fixed....I need to trim down too!

    I prefer the second dress--it visually slims down your upper body and balances you out--plus, the silhouette is beautiful.
