And were they any good? I was sure there were threads about this, but they all seem to be at least a year old. (When the shop I bought my dress from went out of business, I learned a lot can happen with wedding vendors in a year!)

@EffieTrinket I got flowers from both Costco & WholeBlossoms. I did a review on the bee a few months ago, which you can read through if you’d like. Absolutely would recommend Costco! WholeBlossoms did OK, with a few caveats.
Here’s my review!

I used fifty flowers for my girlfriends wedding (she hated planning so as her MOH I planned all of the decor) I loved them, they were great. Everything was on time, they also called me after it was delivered to make sure I got them and answer any questions about the care instructions.
Here are some pics of what we ordered
I had such a good experience with them I used them for my engagement party

housebee: saritacg7: Did you guys have prior flower arranging experience, or did you just kind of wing it? I wound up ordering from Sams and FiftyFlowers, but now I am starting to worry about the logistics and the fact that I really have no clue what I am doing.

EffieTrinket: I watched youtube videos, does that count? I also had pretty standard bouquets, didn’t use floral foam, etc.

We are taking a slightly different route. I’m going to use Preserved flowers from save-on-crafts. I was going to use real flowers from a whole sale company but was worried that last minute I would hate them. With the preserved flowers I can play around with the arrangements until I like it and they won’t die on me. and we can order slowly over time as needed.

jenilynevette: when I try to look online I never can find the 10 for $99. Can you help me with a link?

My mom has experience with arranging and handling. Before we ordered the flowers we got some flowers from the local flower shop and did a mock up of what we wanted. Then figured out how many flowers are needed. And we noticed that it was a little heavy on top so that made us get a wider vase and wire to secure it.
I recommend you get some similar flowers and do a trial run so you know what to expect and have time to fix anything.

We thought of going this route, but we ended up getting them from our local farmer’s market and they were cheaper. They arranged them and wrapped them in ribbon for me and we just picked them up on the morning of the wedding. We got my bridal bouquet, 6 BM bouquets, a toss bouquet, bouts, corsages, and mixed flowers for 16 centerpieces for $400. This was in Charlotte, but may be an option in other places too.
