Hi Bees! Once again I’m asking for your opinions. I am torn. 50/50. Can’t make up my mind. Clueless. I am in love with two bands.
I originally wanted the 3-gold, then I found the beaded and then I ended up in Cartier and tried on the 3-gold band and fell in love with it all over again. There is a BIG difference in cost, but to me a wedding band needs to be 100% right whether it costs £5 or £5,000. Jewellery isn’t about the cost to me, it’s about what I love.
I love them both.
1. Cartier 3-gold wedding band with diamonds. Just over £3,000.
2. Alexis Dove beaded wedding band. £300 (approx).
If I got number 1, this would be FI’s ring: £1,000 approx.
If I got number 2, FI would get: £500 approx.
I’m not sure what I’m asking really. I know you can’t make the decision for me, but any words of encouragement or opinions are appreciated.

I VOTED – CARTIER
Jewellery Lover that I am …
I have to tell you those Cartier Bands are FRICKIN GORGEOUS !!
I am all over them…
Lol, stop asking Questions (showing them off) on the Internet before those babies are all SOLD OUT to people like me who read this thread and go off and order one BEFORE you get a chance to !!
(Sadly, I won’t be ordering them… as we already have WBands… but I do LOVE em)

Cartier, definitely. They have such pretty gold alloys, but also, I would want some bling. I am assuming these will be stand alone bands?

@jcent: Unicorns are AMAZE-BALLS.
@IheartUFC: It’s a blue sapphire halo. I won’t be wearing them together.
@This Time Round: They *are* gorgeous, right? Stop buying my rings. Stoppit. Now.
@BlondeMissMolly: Yes, I will be moving my e-ring to my right hand, when I wear it at all. They call their “rose gold” “pink gold” and although I didn’t have time to look at it too closely, they were really nice golds.
Looks like Cartier is the way to go… I still bloody love that other ring though. Maybe I should get it as a stand-in for when I am getting my Cartier cleaned?!

Re – Coloured Gold
I saw your Reply # 12. Most of us know about Gold Gold – White Gold – and Rose Gold… but Gold can come in many other colours which is determined by what other metals / alloys are put into the mix.
Wikipedia – Coloured Gold = http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Colored_gold
Rose Gold is often called “Pink Gold” as well… (which is what based on the Photos you’ve provided looks what Cartier is doing)
BUT there can also be SERIOUSLY Pink Gold as well (it all depends on how much Copper is in the mix) … such as this example by Quebec Designer Claude Thibaudeau
Anyone who likes the UNUSUAL… should check this guy out… his Designs are that for sure… and he likes to work in various colours of Gold… Gold – White – Pink – Green – Yellow etc.
Hope this helps,
