this is funny--we just booked our honeymoon in st. lucia last night!

we didn't choose based on which part of the island--we found the hotel we wanted to stay at (we were comparing it to other hotels all over the place--ie, belize, curacao, cruises in greece...) and decided based on that....sooo i don't really have a helpful answer, sorry! but we chose the ladera resort--it's not on the ocean, but high up in the island's mountains, and it looks really beautiful and unique. the rooms all have their own private pools, and a "missing" fourth wall, so it's an open, amazing view. kind of looks like a luxury tree house :) we found a fantastic deal for flights and hotel on travelocity
