Totally the portrait!  People want to see you, not the skyline.

I like the landscape style better but if you are torn get a set of both. They both are beautiful. It is a win-win situation.

you will regret not getting both!  gorgeous!

I'm ordering something similar (though mine has no volume discount, don't know if that is a concern) and I'm giving members of the same family different photos...

I love the landscape one, but I would probably bite the bullet and get both.  You can't have too many, right?

Do a collage with both, but crop out some of the cityline. I like the juxtapositioning in colors!

Unpopular opinion I guess...but I really like the second one much better!  I just like that you can see your faces and smiles up close in the second one.  The first one is beautiful too, but it's very far away!  Both are great....either would look good...but I personally would chose the second one :)

oh, you could also do the city for the youngins and tree for older crowd that typically prefer more traditional pictures (in my family at least)

I love the color and vibrancy of the portrait one - so that's the one I picked.  I see I am in the minority, though!

Both are gorgeous!!!! I looooove the first one personally =]  I think the background of the city skyline is beautiful.

In the end though, it's what you and your hubby think is best!

I picked the landscape one and then when i saw you did them on Snapfish, it seems like ordering both would be nice and you can mix them up.  I know when I go to family members and see a different pic/card from the same person I got one from, it's kind of fun to see both/multiple shots.

I went with 3 sets of 20, two of the city back drop and one portrait style. We got one set of city backdrop w/out "for making our day special" for those that gave us gifts but did not attend.

    Thanks for everyone's input!

Landscape all the way. While they're both great, I feel like #1 is one of those pictures that makes you catch your breath for a split second and makes your guests think, "Wow what an awesome day we got to spend with them."

The landscape is very pretty (well, they both are) but you can't see you as well in them. If the purpose is to give your guests the most artistic shot, give the first one. But if you want to give them a memento of what you and your husband looked like on your wedding day and how happy you were, I would pick the second one. You can really see your beautiful outfits and smiling faces much better. The city backdrop I would get framed and hang up in my own house!

They're both great, but I like the one with the city skyline a little better.  It's really unique and will remind your guests of your wedding location.
