We’re planning on giving our parents & grandparents one of our engagement pictures, framed, for Christmas. they’ve all complained in the past that they don’t have any pictures of us, we finally have nice ones.
Which would you choose?
#1 – this is so totally US and I love it, but I worry it’s not traditional or formal enough.
Or do all of these options suck (there are about 90 pictures total, but a bunch of them we’re kissing and I don’t like the idea of sending out a kissing picture)

They’re all cute, but I really like #4! Congrats!

@AlmostMrsPeck: OMG I love #1! I love how happy you both are! I think it would be okay, but if you’re not comfortable with that, then I’m voting for #2! 😀

@AlmostMrsPeck: I LOVE the laughing picture but I know what you mean, it’s not too traditional/formal – I voted for #2 because you both are smiling and look genuinely happy, and it’s the type picture I can see my parents and grandparents hanging up. But if you don’t send out #1 you should frame that for yourselves 🙂

I love #1 sooo much! If it’s so you, then I would send that one out! Who says they need to be formal? 🙂

i like the first one best too! I would give that one to your families if you think they would also appreciate that type of shot 🙂

I like one and four! I don’t know how they will feel about one so I think I will vote four.

#1 is adorable, but knowing my grandparents, they’d want a more traditional smiling picture. We had a photographer who was much more candid in her photos, but my grandmother still picked one of the few pictures where we were both looking at the camera and smiling to print out. Grandparents- gotta love ’em! I think #2 or #4 would be perfect options!

For the people voting that they all suck – I’m wondering what you don’t like about them (or maybe you just think we’re terrible looking people).
FYI – My eyes tend to close/squint badly when I smile so getting one where my eyes are really open is a challenge!

I think grandparents would like a nice photo of you facing forward and smiling (that was always my grandmother’s criteria for a nice picture), so I voted # 2. I think number 1 is totally cute, though!

#3 could be a good option for the grandparents as well – formal, no big grin.

@AlmostMrsPeck: I like 1 and 2 because you look the happiest. I would go with one of those. I am also not interested in sending out kissing pictures.

#1 really shows off how much you love eachother and have fun together- the other are “nice” but the 1st really just has so much personality!

One is my all time favorite and three is great too! I don’t like four, its not a flattering angle!

I really love the first picture but I think for grandparents I would say #3. It is gorgeous.
