@CandyKate:  I prefer Jeff’s work but I am not 100% without seeing an album of photos from a single wedding.  Every photographer has a greatest hits collection but one or two photos from each wedding does not an album make.  Ask to see a sample wedding album with photos from a single wedding before purchasing.

Michaels’ work is also good but a little too artistic for my taste.  Single giant canvases look like they will look amazing but I’m not sure how well those kinds of photos will look together in an album.  It seems like he may be a bit too experimental if you’re looking for an album.

@CandyKate:  That’s makes way more sense!  The styles were all so different that I felt the photographer was spending the entire wedding making every photo look different.  But it being the best shot from 18 different photographers explains that.

That said, I’m not a fan of photo conglomerates with so many in-house photographers.  If a particular photographer is so good, why aren’t they out there working under their own name?

@CandyKate:  exactly…and while the other guys work is great as well I feel like its sort of typical. The artistic ones are traditional but different at the same time. But honestly you are the one thats going to be looking at them for the next 100 years so go with your gut 😉 Either way you cant go wrong! @CandyKate:  I voted for Michael Bambino b/c I like the way those pictures look better, but I definitely second seeing a full album from your actual photographer– I looked at a few of the weddings they had posted, and it seemed like a lot showed just the “detail” shots, and not a lot of portraiture of the couple. Even if you’re interested in more natural/candid photos of you guys, there still needs to be some!

Yeah, I definitely wouldn’t book with them if they can’t tell you who exactly will be at your wedding and let you see their work beforehand. Good luck!

I prefer Jeff.  I think Michael’s work is too heavy on the editing.  He’s got too much saturation and contrast going on.

I prefer Jeff. I wanted actual pictures of the day, not something so heavily edited.
