I'm wondering if any of you out there can recommend to me which version of Adobe Photoshop I should download to make my menus, table number cards, and various other little paper products.  I a using vector images.  I would just be downloading the free trial and have not used it since high school, so I'm not sure which version works best with what I'm trying to accomplish.  Thanks!

I used CS2 to do my invites, reserved seating signs, table numbers, menus, and other paper stuff. I also used it to edit some of engagement pics. I've never used vector images though so I'm not too sure about that. I think the trial that's out now is CS3 so you should be more than fine using that version.

If you have no experiance with photoshop - it's not like you can open it and just use it. Not totally user friendly with out any previous knowledge. I would suggest Photoshop Elements as it's more so easy then CS2.

Also, google tutorials on doing ceritan things to help you figure things out. They are very helpful and easy to find.

You don't need all the stuff in CS2 for what you plan to do. Unless you are going to start professioanl creating photos and images, Elements is just fine and you will spend less time figureing it out and more time working on your wedding stuff.

If you need any help - PM me and I'll be happy to point you in the right direction :-)

If you are using vector images, I would highly recommend going with a vector-based program like Illutsrator instead of Photoshop--you will see MUCH better results, and have a lot more flexibility with what you can do.  Good luck!
