    I am trying to decide between the vertical and horizontal pocketfolds. I got a sample of the horizontal and am worried I will have trouble making the inserts (they need to be 3.5 inches wide). The vertical inserts would be much easier (and the pocketfolds would cost about $ 15.00 less. But I am worried they look really long.

    Opinions =)

    If it is going to be cheaper and easier I would go with the vertical ones but I personally like the look of the horizontal ones! Not sure it will really matter to the guests though :)

    The horizontal looks more formal. And I that look more for some reason.

    I definitely like the horizontal better!

    How does the horizontal change the inserts though? It seems as that "section" is still the same size (5x7)? Idk maybe I'm just missing something.

    I do like the horizontal though.. the vertical gets too "big" as in long when unfolded.

    I had vertical folds for my wedding invites! I LOVED them and got such great feedback on them. If they're cheaper too that's a huge plus :)

    @amnystik: I just googled the picture .. it may be 5 x7 in the picture but the horizontal insert section on the pocketfolds I would be purchasing is only 3.5 inches wide .. I know you can buy them bigger but I can't afford it

    I just got my horizontal invites in the mail today (yay!) but I like the vertical ones too... Especailly if price is part of it for you!

    I used envelopperinc btw, they worked out fairly cheap in comparison to most of the pocket invites I found and I really liked their designs :)

    I am having the same issue.  I am actually using the same website, too.  Though I am still back and forth, I think that what you should do (this is what I'm doing to save money) is instead of buying their pre-cut paper, go and buy a bunch of cardstock.  Michael's was having a sale this weekend, and I got 4 packs of 50 sheets for about $7.00.  They give you the actual measurements of the paper, and you can get a paper cutter and just cut everything on you own and save a ton of money!  Let me know what you decide, because I'm having the exact same problem!

    If you're wanting to get your inserts cut to size I would look for somewhere else to order your paper from.

    We ordered from anchorpaper.com, got evertyhing cut to size for our pocketfolds (I DIY'd them), invite backings, guestbooks color pages, and programs (which were 6 page booklets) all for around 75 bucks after shipping.

    Great prices & fantastic customer service & will be much more cost effective than ordering inserts from the place you get your pockefolds. =)
