Bed Bath and Beyond has an incentive program. We just got our All Clad measuring cups the other day! They had different gifts for registering and for completion.
Yep - Macy's still does and so does Bed Bath and Beyond!
Crate & Barrel and Pottery Barn both offer a 10% discount to purchase anything off your registry after the event. (You can also register for a b-day party or housewarming etc and use the coupons.) At Crate & Barrel, we got a heart-shaped crystal bowl for registering, not that it was much of an incentive.
I can't remember if Macy's offers a completion discount or not, but if you open a Macy's card, you get a gift card worth some portion of what people spend on your registry.
BB&B and Pampered Chef has a program-each time a guest purchases something off your registery you earn points. The more points you earn, the more free product you earn.
I third (?) BBB. We got a nice knife for registering for $300 worth of Calphalon stuff (not hard to do)!
Bloomingdales is awesome for free gifts. You get a few lovely gifts when you register (we got crystal champagne flutes, a blue willow candy dish, a tote bag, and a photo album) then more gifts when you register for specific brands such as Calphalon (we got a cookbook and some kitchen gadgets) and then MORE gifts when you complete a certain $ amount of a certain brand (we got a free pan) then finally you also get a registry completion discount of 10% on things you buy after the wedding.
Macys and Bed Bath & Beyond both do Gift with Registry AND gift with completion. C&B didnt do this but we did get a free glass bowl when we went to the registry event. We got a super nice 8pc Henckles steak knife set from BB&B once 99.99 worth of Henckles flatware was bought and we got a free flatware storage box when we registered.
Macy's, Bloomingdales and Williams-Sonoma all offer promotions where if you register for a certain dollar amount (or number of pieces) within a certain brand, that brand will give you a free gift. It can be anything from a vase or a pot to a cookbook. If you want to look into it, check out store websites - the information should be available there. If not, go into the stores and ask to see their information on registering. Good luck and have fun :)

Hi fellow bees,
If the old days, friends tell me that Bridal Registries had "Gift with Register" programs as well as "Gift with Completion" Incentives. Do you know of any Registries are still doing that? I have heard that Macy's used to... do they still?
Thanks,
Sara
