My original ring has unfortunately been lost/stolen – long story but i believe stolen as there were two workers in my home for a day installing internet and then my ring wasnt in its usual place – (i took it off to paint) but i have NO proof and dont want to accuse anyone without concrete evidence. I have searched high and low for weeks now, and the first weekend i realised it was gone i was balling my eyes out searching, so anyway. im going through insurance now, and i want to decide on a ring before hand as i just want to purchase another one ASAP, i freaking HATE not having my ring on my finger and want it back ASAP. I dont want the same style as last time, as it has bad connotations for me now and I want to start fresh. (hubby was annoyed to say the least…) i also found my original ring sat super high.
Ineed help deciding which ring. I want one that doesnt sit toooo high, would prefer one that sits flush with my band but i know with these two it wont happen… thats ok. Also think i want a 2mm band. I like the Tiffany style but not sure about the knife edge. I’m confused and sad. lol.
Please let me know the style you prefer. And if you have another suggestion feel free to add it here, including photos!
PS i am going for Moissanite and want solitaire.
Thanks ladies! xxx

#2. But both will be pretty.

Olivepepper : I agree, number two looks good, but they’re both pretty.

I think they are both pretty. Look around in the bee… you will find examples of both 😀
I just ordered a low set solitaire from them and I love it. Soooo happy for it to be low set. I previously had a cathedral and it was pretty high so I know what you mean wanting it to be lower 🙂

samanthapeach : which one did you order? yes i was surprised how much bigger it made the stone look , as well as being 4 prong. it was only 1 ct but everyone kept saying how massive it was which was a bit uncomfortable lol!!

I prefer ring one, I voted wrong 🙁
They’re both pretty, I love simple solitaires. I just liked the top one better.

I like six prongs vs four in most cases.

Both are pretty but I like #2 more since the head is a little more Tiffany like and more unique than #1.

Number two. I’m not a huge fan of the flat prongs in 1. My very first engagement ring from a prior relationship had those prongs, and I never liked the profile because of it. It looked very “rough” to me, in a way. I think the second is softer and more aesthetic.

soymilk : thanks for your comment! they are both 6 prong here – i agree with you on that!!! 🙂

sparklebeeesq : that is sort of what i am thinking too. thank you!
