I'm a big fan of all things modern, especially on guys... so I love the second one. It's a good find. I've never seen anything like it!
I like the first one because it looks like a comfort band, so it would be more comfortable for him to wear. It is also a classic style.
okay what I really love is this one:

but he doesn't like diamonds :P which I think is CRAZY!
Yeah, most guys wouldn't like the diamond. I know R wouldn't!
I like the first one. I'm a classic kind of girl. :)
That one might work, but it isn't a comfort band, so I wouldn't get it for my guy. Also, if he works with his hands, it is going to get beat up. He won't want to wear it for fear the diamonds would fall out.
I think the second fits a wide range of mens' tastes/styles. It is modern, but has a classic feel to it at the same time. And sorry, but, I'm with your FI on the third... I absolutely despise diamond bands on men!! The only way that men can masculinely sport diamonds is, minimally and tastefully, in a watch (IMHO). ;)
Have you shown your FI the rings? We picked my DH's ring out together and we were both surprised by the ring he picked. We had done some online shopping and had essentually picked one out based on its looks. but once we got to the store and he started trying them on he completely changed his mind. He didnt like the way it looked on and he realized that he hated the comfort fit because it felt to thick.
Men's POV : My guys actually picked the second one as one he liked. he doesn't want lots of bling either.
@sept2610 - where did you get that 3rd pic of (with the diamonds)? FH really wants a little bling on his ring and I think he'd like that one.
My husband started to get annoyed when I tried to help pick out a ring, so we decided to just let him do it himself; he went out a few times to look at different places an finally found one that he was looking for! He went with a titanium since it's extremely light and it has a somewhat similar look to the second ring.
My hubby wanted diamonds but he works with his hands a lot so we decided to go with a simple one. Personally, I like the first one...I think on guys the simpler, the better!
I like the 2nd one but I always like something I dont think everybody has. :)
def the second ones...most guys dont like the bling...its just how they are...haha.
I like the second one because it's angular and masculine looking. What does FI like though?? I feel this should be his decision as he will wear it every day (hopefully!) :)
PS I wanted to get DH a wedding band with diamonds and he said absolutely not. Now he looks around and some of htis recently married friends have blingy bands and he told me he wishes he had listened to me. I think I'll get him a blingy band just for dressy occasions....
I showed my man and he likes the first one. Guys are pretty simple.
I like the first one, my FI definitely wants something simple, although he is looking at tungsten.
I like the simplicity of the first one, but both are nice. The real question though is: which one would your FI like best? Could you show them to him and let him pick?
They're both nice but I like the simplicity of the first one! I guess it depends on what your FI likes :)
My FI told me he prefers something very simple. You just need to find out what your FI prefers. Thin, thick, blingy, detailed...
I like the second one. Are you going to buy from that website, or check out a store in person?
I definitely prefer the first - it's classic, elegant, timeless, yet still has a confident presence. (Though I'm not sure what his personal style is like.)
** Edit: Just realized how old this thread is - my bad! Which one did you choose?
the second one, althought i like the simplicity of the first. when i saw a milgrained (beaded) edge wedding band in the store it almost looked sort of like those ones you get out of gumball machines? but maybe that was because it wasnt a good one? i dunno... but that image is in my mind. i say #2! or have you looked on etsy? they have fabulous handmade ones

This is my ring:
The center stone is actually bigger, he had it custom-made. I love it, it's like my dream ring! (though I don't get that wedding band for a couple months ;))
Anyway, I'm looking into rings for my fiance now...
Here are two ideas, which do you like?
