I votes pave. I have a pave split shank and haven’t had any problems with snagging or anything. They’re both beautiful. I just prefer the extra sparkle 🙂 good luck!

If you want to wear it frequently, I’d be scared of losing one of the little diamonds in the pave band. You may have insurance on the ring, but it’s still a hassle to bring it in for repair. The plain band looks sleek!

I like the plain solitaire. That’s what I have and love that I don’t have to worry about damaging my setting. I wear my rings pretty much all the time and no problems whatsoever.

Since you’re going with a center stone up to .70, I would go with extra bling so my vote is for the pave.

Personally,  I had a high set solitaire and wouldn’t do it again.  I banged it on things and caused minor wounds on people. I’d get the low set.

I like plain, looks like with plain the wedding band will sit flush, and I like plain solitaire with diamond band best

I prefer the look of a solitaire, and with the one you’ve shown it sits quite high so will make the diamond look bigger anyway.
