Have you tried the ceasar salad? That is usually a safe choice, but I know at our venue it wasn't that good.

I would either chose the ceasar salad or the mixed exotic greens, I think the seasonal berries would be perfect for August.

I'm a vegetarian, so I could only have the tomato or exotic greens, not the ceasar unless you offered no dressing or dressing on the side. Or could you ask your caterer to make a vegetarian salad if you have any vegetarians attending? The two veggie options sound great to me, so I'd be happy with either, but the tomato would be my favorite.

I voted for the one with the berries because I LOVE fruit in salads in the summertime. Pears, strawberries ... yum!

    I didn't vote b/c I can't decide :)

I think casear salad might be the safest, although the other two sound great.  I'd suggest trying all of them.

    I am extremely torn.

Personally I would love the berries, but I know many people have an aversion to berries in salad.

On another day I think the tomato is the most interesting and perhaps memorable, but there are a lot of people who don't like tomatos and those people would have nothing to eat, as opposed to the berry-haters who could just pick off the berries.

And the ceaser is indeed safe, but some people feel akward having garlic at social events. :)

But I want to pick asap so my menus can be designed sooner

in my head i pick the tomato salad - it sounds great! But in reality I don't like to eat tomatos, or olives ;) so i would pick the caesar if it were a tasty one!

The caesar is probably the safest choice, but I voted for the mixed greens/seasonal berries because it sounds so refreshing and summery.

I would pick 1 or 3, mostly because they seem like they would have a wider appeal.  My FI doesn't like tomatoes at all, and while I love tomatoes, I don't like feta, so neither one of us would end up eating any of #2...

Caesar has a much wider appeal than the others.

We're serving Cesar but if we had an option of anything including feta, I would have picked that instead! Tomato and feta and olives sounds delicious to me any day.

I was going to choose ceasar for our menu, but when we tasted our other option, we decided that the ceasar was very boring. This surprised me because ceasar is my all time favorite. We chose a panzanella salad.

i agree that cesar is your safest bet. i chose 3 though because i always associate cesar with itailian food for some reason.

ditto some people not likeing feta and or olives. but i love it so if i had the choice i would have picked 2 but to serve at my wedding i would go with #3, people can eat around the berries, not so much with the feta or kalamata dressing.
