How sweet of your brother!  There have been so many times where I need some photoshop magic as I’m horrible at envisioning.

I say no sash.  It doesn’t hit your true waist line (where sashes normally would) and the “built in” belt seems a better fit than a totally separate sash.

I think the sash is to bulky that high up I would add a brooch or something to add sparkle

ugh, I must agree – it needs to hit lower on you to really look stunning! So I don’t know if it’s just something you can wear lower or if a sash won’t work for you. Maybe some type of jeweled belt would hit at a better spot?

I’m agreeing with the idea of no sash!

If you want bling but a full sash isn’t working, have you considered a brooch in the center?  Something like this (just an example)

(I’m actually not a huge fan of this particular brooch, I just didn’t spend much time on it!)

You don’t need a sash!  The dress is perfect by itself.  A sash almost makes it too choppy.

I don’t really like any sash with that V neck style!  I’m trying to think of how you can play that mid part up so it gives it something….

The sashes look bulky/huge because its a photoshop image, they’re hard to shrink down to actual look to show what it will look like.  So that also plays a big part in why it looks so huge.

I think a small brooch in the middle where the V point ends with a small ribbon pulled through it going around your bust/waist would be very pretty.  Ive seen many dresses made like that and I like it.

Plus it gives alittle bling and contrast to the dress and your figure

Actually one I was very much considering buying and doing the exact same thing until I went with my gut dress hehe

@Ms. Martian:  sorry i think i am the one who pointed out the face in the earrings!! I still think they are gorgeous earrings and am positive when you are wearing them, you won’t notice the “face” effect, lol.  As for sash, it looks like you decided against it? I agree that the ones above are too much for the dress. I like the brooch idea for sure – like some of the ones we looked at in person.
