I prefer the second, but really it’s that I prefer the lack of exclamation point. I think the exclamation just makes it a little…”birthday party-ish” or something.

    Ours read:

    Save the Date

I like the first, but I don’t like how close the flowers on the left are in comparison to the ones on the right

@brandybelle:  Yeah, I might would say the first if the exclamation point was removed.

ugh I’m stuck on this one because on our STDs that have yet to be designed I want just our first names but I wonder if we should also include last names. I’m going to stay tuned to this thread.

I would change the wording and layout on the first one from:

    Save the Date!
    Chad & Brandy are
    getting married on
    May 25, 2013
    Charleston, South Carolina
    Formal Invitation to follow
    weddingwire.com/chandytiestheknot

    to (additions are underlined):

    Save the Date!
    Chad & Brandy are
    are getting married! on
    May 25, 2013
    Charleston, South Carolina
    Fformal Iinvitation to follow
    weddingwire.com/chandytiestheknot

Here is the non-marked up version:

    Save the Date
    Chad & Brandy
    are getting married!
    May 25, 2013
    Charleston, South Carolina
    formal invitation to follow
    weddingwire.com/chandytiestheknot

I would also consider changing fonts, or only using the cursive fonts for the top and bottom sections.

We did use our full names on ours, and we used two fonts.  Our names were in the same cursive font as the date:

I prefer the cleaner look of #1.
