    I also had a small wedding around your size and I found that having everyone sit at the same table with center pieces breaking the table up in smaller sections, it looked more intimate and at the same time people had conversations throughout the dinner. 

     

    For a larger wedding I would have liked the sweetheart table format so people can come and talk to you guys more easily but for something this small I think breaking up the tables might create the opposite effect of what you’re trying to go for.

     

    A good example for an intimate beach dinner party I thought was that first season episode of REVENGE where they celebrated Daniel’s birthday had a really awesome/classy setup (except for the part at the end of course) 😛
