Hopefully we’re going ring shopping this weekend!
We’re going to look at a lot of different styles of ring but these two below have caught my eye!
If it makes any difference to your vote, we are going to choose a small diamond and, in time, I will have a plain platinum wedding band.

@lunalyra: I love the second ring it’s so pretty. I don’t like the rose gold on the first one:(

@Holly77: Thank you for your comments. I’m really excited about seeing them in person! Sometimes it’s quite difficult to tell from a photo. Can’t wait to get it now! 😀

@lunalyra: i really like them both. But for some reason the top one with rose gold setting catches my attention! I like that its different. I chose that one. You might want to check with the jeweler about mixing metals. I believe white gold is softer than platinum and wearing the two together might wear down the gold ring. Im not 100% sure. Be sure to ask this weekend. they’re both beautiful. Happy shopping.

The second one 🙂 How exciting!!

I like the second. I prefer 4 prong.

I voted “neither”. I would like the first one if the band was rose gold and the head was white gold. I don’t like the split shank on the second one. Sorry :

I voted for the first one. I think its very unique and pretty cool. Not what I would have personally chosen perhaps but still a really cool ring and very safe diamond 😉
ETA: I also just adore the basket on the ring!

I love how unique the first one is, but I voted for the second because I like the split shank, but it all depends on how it looks on you! How exciting!

Really appreciate the votes and comments!
We all have different tastes but it’s nice to see so many of you like at least one of those.
Hopefully I’ll be able to post pictures of my ring soon. Looking forward to seeing what’s in the shops too!

My rings are platinum, but I LOVE the first ring with the platimum and rose gold combination! It’s stunning! The other ring also is beautiful, but I voted for the first ring.</p

UPDATE UPDATE UPDATE
We bought this ring (stock photo):
We opted for a smaller diamond than in the photo (0.26 carat), as the setting cost quite a lot, but plumped for the best quality we could afford (E colour; VVS1; excellent cut, polish, and symmetry). I’m thrilled!
Very excited for it to arrive now!
