I vote with the new ones, they're awesome. Buy the new ones and sell the original pair on here, you'll get most of your money back. A lot of girls are doing that color, and it's gorgeous.
I would go with the first pair, especially since they have a lower heel. Trust me, I wear heels every day, most are between 4-5 inches comfortably, and I was so glad I wore a low heel for the wedding. My feel were killing me by the end of the night, so I can only imagine how they would have felt in a super high heel!
I really like your first pair a lot better.
I am really not a fan of the second pair--the first pair is classier and more beautiful, imo.
@Lindsay12.31.2010: Yes, I was thinking that when I first got them. The lower heel would be easier to wear all night. Plus, both of my Bridesmaids are a good 6 inches shorter than me. So I didn't want to be too tall next to them. haha.
I think you will be much more comfortable and natural in the first shoe.
The first shoe is just too beautiful for me to allow you to pass up! I'm a barely 5'1 bride and i totally understand the need for a tall shoe, but I LOVE those. I say keep them!
omg, I LOOOOOOVE that first shoe... its gorgeous! I think its more classy and sophisticated looking than the second pair. I'd stick with what you have.
My FI 10 inches taller than me and I got 4 inch heels. He actually was hoping I'd get something shorter cause he likes how he towers over me.
Wow - ok, thanks everyone. Seems the majority like the original shoe. I guess I will stick with my first choice. Thank you bees!
I agree that the first pair is beautiful! I would stick with those for sure!
I say, if the second shoe is from zappos or endless and you can get free shipping both ways, then it wouldn't hurt to buy it and see how it looks/feels and then make a decision.
If the second shoe would allow you to avoid paying to have your dress hemmed, then it may be a wash on the price. Doesn't hurt to try.
@mcnetn3: Yes, the second shoe is also from endless. I thought about ordering it to try - but am hesitant about spending more $ - I can see me keeping them rather than sending them back out of convenience. I am tall enough in my original shoe to not need any hemming either.

I bought the first pair (Nine West Janika) last year, after searching high and low for the perfect purple color (not the darker grape color, more of the berry jewel toned color). I love them, they are the perfect color and comfortable, but they are only 3 1/2 inches. My FI is about 7 inches taller than me, so he thought I would pick a higher pair. I have several higher pairs that I wear regularly, so I am comfortable walking in them. Also, my wedding dress is long enough to afford the extra height. One negative, I am over the limit to return them back to endless.com, so I would lose $ unless I can sell them online.
I just came across the second pair (Miss Me Jocelyn) and they are 5 inches. They seem to be the right color. But I really don't want to spend more $ than I have to.
Should I order them?? Or stick with my original pair??
