I can’t decide which shoes to wear and need a little help. For the ceremony I will be wearing a long ballgown so my shoes won’t be seen. However, the skirt detaches and transforms into a short coktail dress that I will be wearing at the reception. I’m torn betwene playing it safe with nude heels or having some bling and strassing some shoes to look like the Louboutins below. I tend to have a very understated style. However, shoes are the one acessory that I go a little crazy with sometimes.

I say go the strass, but I prefer the lower platform of the first pair. I think strassing plus the super high platform is too much.

I’m afraid I’m not too impressed with either of them. The sparkly shoes are pretty but i think they’d clash with the colour of the dress, which is quite a dark ivory (gorgeous dress btw!). Nude on its own would be too simple. how about something like this?

I think the nude pumps would be playing it a little too safe. How about something like this instead? It’s a blush satin sandal, with pearls decorating the platform (channeling Nicholas Kirkwood) so it’s definitely bridal.
Or you could always buy already strassed shoes instead of going through the hassle yourself, like the Enzo Angiolini Show You pumps, they come in a variety of colors, or the Steve Madden Deevaa (They look very similar in person to the picture of the Louboutin Daffodils you posted, they’re super sparkly!)

You’re dress is so cool! I love how it does that.
