I have my song choice for walking down the aisle narrowed down to 2. I just can’t decide which I like better.
1. Hallelujah: http://www.gigmasters.com/presskit.aspx?id=23486&seq=11&pb=y&audio=y#av
2. Have I Told You Lately?: http://www.gigmasters.com/presskit.aspx?id=23486&seq=18&pb=y&audio=y#av
What do you think?

Definitely Halleluljah. Love that song.
But as a sidenote, I hate that the site says that the song is from Shrek. Leonard Cohen wrote it in the mid-80s, John Cale covered it a few years later, and then Jeff Buckley recorded his legendary version a few years after that. It wasn’t until almost ten years later that Rufus Wainwright’s version appeared in Shrek.
And with that, I end my music snob rant. Sorry for that.

That’s ok…I don’t like that the website has it listed as “Hallelujah from Shrek” either. Jeff Buckley’s version is definitely my favorite.

I vote for Hallelujah also–it has a stronger beat to walk to.

Just as a sidenote – the original LC version CRACKS ME UP!!!!!!!!!!!!! I keep it on my ipod for giggles=)

Eek. I would cringe if someone walked down the aisle to Hallelujah. Not because it isn’t a beautiful song, it is, but the meaning! It is a song about how love is a battle with the ego, and though you may lose the battle and the love, it is always worthwhile. Unless you’ve guys had a super stormy relationship that was all about overcoming personal destruction or something, it just seems REALLY innappropriate.
