I have a fairly fitted sheath dress and definitely need spanx to help out in the midsection but have never worn them before and am not sure what style will work best (while still being able to, umm, use the restroom) in a wedding dress. Any suggestions?

I would go with a high wasted panty. if you dont want the legs on them (like bike shorts) you can go with just a panty and many now have a hook and eye closour “down there” to make potty time easier.
I have also seen a body wrap that is like a spanx tube. It doesnt have any legs or crotch, its just like slip that goes from under your bust to just below your butt.

I second the high-waisted panty suggestion. I do NOT recommend the kind with legs unless your thighs are really skinny, as I’ve found they roll up. SUPER annoying!

Thanks! Any more advice welcome – I’ll try the high waisted one on.

I would personally get the bodysuit that hooks onto your bar to hold it up if you are wearing a strapless bra. If you aren’t, a high waist panty would work. I’m glad mine had some legs on it as I didn’t have to worry about chafing at all. Mine didn’t roll up at all. If you are buying the actual Spanz brand, it shouldn’t be a problem because there is no hem on the leg part and in fact you can cut the leg to the length you want if they are too long.
