I like the back bow better with this sash.  Is this the actual sash?

I like the thickness.  Is it going to be sewn onto the dress or tied?  If it’s sewn on then it might look good in the front.  My concern is the sash kind of rolls on the dress when it’s in the front, when it’s sewn the bow and the sash will be flatter.

I like it that width and with the bow in the back.  I don’t think it needs to be sewn into place if the bow is in the back.  If I changed anything it would be the slope of the edge of the bow, I would make it a shorter more defined edge instead of the long running edge.

Love the color combination! And that stripped yellow sash- swoon worthy! ๐Ÿ˜€ As for where it ought to be tied….I like them both, but think they say different things. Front tied says informal, country, and sweet, while back tied says formal, and sassy.

I dont think it should be thicker or thinner. I like it in the front but maybe if it was a bit longer (a BIT!). But I agree with rabbit that they suggest different things.

I say other. They way we did them in my friends wedding was tied them kind of like a tie. She was a laid back bride and said we could wear them however. 2 of us wore them to the back and the other girl to the side.

Here’s a picture of what it looked like. Hope that helps ๐Ÿ™‚

i voted for putting the bow in the front. i saw that the dress is a halter, which means you’ll already have a bow tie hanging from the back of the neck, so two bow-ties in the back might seem too busy.
