We have a bit of a wine theme going on, but it's more in the background. The site is a restaurant with darker colored walls.
Do you have wedding colors? Personally I like the organic/natural feel of the green bottles. However, if you are wanting a more modern look, then I would definitely go with the blue.
I like the green bottle over the blue myself.
Just a suggestion/thought, and it may just be the photos, but the cards don't really 'pop' off the bottle so maybe do the card in white/ivory/lt color (whichever goes with your color scheme) and the number in a darker color/black? I think that would help with readability as your guests enter the room. Just an idea!
I totally agree with Luckyyou. The grey card doesn't pop a lot off the bottle (although it does a bit more with the green). A quick idea. Go to Home Depot or whatever and grab a bunch of funky wallpaper samples. Cut them down into the same size as your tags, but like a 1/4 smaller and lay them over the grey (so you have a bit of grey still showing) and then put your number on that. It would look SO cool and add a bit of texture and pop to the labels. I couldn't find a photo of a label, so here's second best.

Can you alternate and use both? I think it is a really cool idea and I like both colors
I prefer the blue bottle. Luckyyou might have a good point though. I can tell exactly what it says and it does seem to pop to me in the photo, but in a dimly lit room it might be a little tough. I love the idea though, it'll look great.
Also in the both crowd. And I like Bakerella's idea about adding some layers to the tags so the stand out just a little bit more.
i agree with luckyyou... perhaps a light colored tag would make it less muted. love the green one.. definitely more natural!
One thing I'm noticing (and this could just be in the picture) is that the green is see-through and the blue is not, does that matter to you? Do you have anything else on the table?
I think mixing them up would fun!
Thanks, Bees! I was really hoping for one preference over the other since I couldn't make a decision. But I guess it really is a hard call!!
Some more information: The blue one is spray painted and it is a pain to get it even with no bubbles, etc. The green one is natural. They are going to be on long and round and square tables (we have quite the variety in our venue) with flowers that are mostly green/white with antique hydrangeas that have some blue/purple in them.
I'm okay with the tag not standing out too much because the table number is an accessory to the setting, but not the focal point.
I like both blue and green bottles but think a different color card can be used. I found this online and is an example how it would look with an Ivory card. http://www.weddingchicks.com/sweet-deals/1933/free-wine-lables/

I want to make wine bottle table numbers, but I can't decided which way to go. Do you like the blue bottle or the green one?
