I thought I wanted a replica of this Pnina Tornai done by Faboulous U.
But then I saw this top on Pinterest, and I’m kind of obsessed with it.
I know both are a bit… over the top, and not to everyone’s liking, but I’m an over the top person and I love both. Which do you like more? Both would be on a satin/tafeda skirt with no other embellishments, just the top, and would be as sparkly as possible.
Should I go with the more classic first look, or the second, more out there/modern look?

@DelilahDiamond: love the flower. It is certainly over the top – but it is also less traditional “bridal” than the other one. Also a little Black Swan-ish? I think it’s a dress to be remembered!

Neither are my personal preference (my dress will have no bling on it), but I think the flower one is so different and interesting. I find it prettier than the first one.

@DelilahDiamond: um that second dress is amazing.

I guess it would depend on personal opinion but I prefer the top. I dont care for the second one at all.

Thanks for the opinions!
Like I said, I know it’s not to some people’s taste, adn that’s fine with me! I’m totally for over the top dress, that’s what I want!
Do you think the second one would look too prom-y?

@DelilahDiamond: It’s too over the top for me personally, but I think the flower one is so pretty and unique! I don’t think it looks prom-ish (at least not in white… maybe if it was in like, hot pink lol). Plus with the addition of full hair/makeup, veil, etc., it def won’t look like prom!

The first one is beautiful and ornate but the second is STUNNING! It’s different and interesting. Not prom-ish at all… If I was brave enough, I’d absolutely wear the second!

I love the second one! So pretty!

I like the first one. The second reminds me of a dance recital costume.

I voted for the flower top. It is just grogeous!

@DelilahDiamond: second one hands down! i’ve seen the 1st on SYTTD way too many times so for me, it’s not that special. the second one i’ve never seen before.

I absolutely love ! the second one. totally different and out there but elegant looking too !! wish I could have this on my dress now 🙁 lol

@DelilahDiamond: IMHO, the feathery/leafy bodice reminds me of the 1980’s sequin gowns. Maybe that was before your time, but I’m not a huge fan.

I am not an over the top person, I love things that are simplistic and elegant.BUT i LOVE that second one!!!!! It is amazing, and I have never seen anything like it! LOVE IT!!!!
