have you looked at these in person? i was going to use vase #1 until i went into DT and saw it first hand, MUCH smaller than i had imagined. Tall and/or heavy willow might not work with these :( just something to think about hun
@mudratdetector: I actually do have 1 of the first vase... and we have a few branches. It looks fine as the branches aren't too heavy/thick. I just noticed on the site that the second vase is only 6'5" tall...def wouldn't work.
If it has to be between these two vases, I pick #1 because it is taller.
Check one out in the store with the branches to see if the proportions are right.
The taller one would work out better. If you use ribbon, try to add something on the ribbon. A monogram printed on paper or single initial of your future last name (rhinestone sticker). There is so much that you can do on a tight budget and can still let your wedding shine!

Sorry I don't have a mock of our centerpiece yet, but we plan on putting curly willow tree branches in vases, with colored gems at the bottom, with a ribbon tied around the vase. Now the question is...which vase do you think would look better?
