This is what my gown looks like:
I am really struggling with what length veil to get (I have time, but sort of not really, because my wedding is in my hometown, so between now and the wedding I have 3 opportunities to do anything with my dress, including trying on veils). There is lace applique at the end of the train that I want everyone to be able to see, but I also want a long veil. Would it be weird if my veil was just shorter than the train? Has anyone done that before?
Any suggestions on veil length for me, or something I haven’t thought about? (especially for a long yet easy-to-walk-with veil, if such a thing exists)
Thank you bees!!!

@nawella: I think a sweep-length veil would be gorgeous! It’d be just a little bit shorter than the train.

@PacificMrs: Wow that’s awesome! I didn’t even know that existed!
Also, forgot to mention, my dress is listed as having a chapel length train, but to be honest it looks longer than that to me… but I suppose I can just measure the dress when I’m home or when I go in for fittings

I’d try chapel or cathedral etsy and light in the box I think it is would have something that might work

@Mrs Christopher: Yeah I was thinking etsy too

i’d do cathedral ( which is to the ground I beleive ) or almost the length of your dress.. that would look best.

Also for everyone, I am ordering from Pretty things by Jenni on etsy! She is so awesome! I’ll have to share when it all goes awesome 🙂
